Enterprise-grade AI shouldn't require an enterprise-sized budget or engineering team. I built SellyChat so that a solo founder, a small support team, or a growing business can deploy intelligent AI agents — without writing a single line of code.

The Story

Built out of frustration

SellyChat started because I kept running into the same problem: the chatbot tools available were either toy-grade keyword matchers or enterprise platforms that required a six-figure budget and a dedicated ML team.

The gap in the middle — where a real business could deploy a genuinely intelligent agent without massive investment — was enormous. So I decided to build it myself.

I spent months building the workflow engine, integrating AI APIs, and obsessively testing the voice stack. SellyChat is now a fully functional platform with web chat, WhatsApp, Voice AI, telephony, and 11+ integrations — all built and maintained by a solo developer.

My vision for SellyChat is to build an AI chatbot platform that gives businesses full control over their workflow, logic, and integrations, so they can create a chatbot system that actually fits how their business works instead of being limited by rigid, one-size-fits-all tools.

SellyChat is designed to help business owners leverage automation in places where many other chatbots fail. It lets users customize conversation flows deeply, connect to other services, and fall back to human escalation when the chatbot misses something important.

Looking ahead, I also see Voice AI as a core part of the future. SellyChat is being built so the same workflow can power voice conversations and connect with phone services, making interactions feel as natural and convenient as talking to a real operator, even when customers may not realize they are speaking with a chatbot.
